"Kek" is a translation of the acronym "LOL" (express joy out loud) when reading text written by members of the Horde faction every bit an Alliance thespian in the online multiplayer game World of Warcraft (WoW). On June 5th, a Facebook[5] page titled "Pinnacle kek" was launched. On July 12th, 2013, Redditor glnskp submitted a screenshot of a Topkek 4chan thread to the /r/4chan subreddit, to which several Redditors replied with references to WoW. On the post-obit twenty-four hour period, YouTuber Top Kek uploaded a When I'thou Bored remix video titled "When I'm kek" featuring a slideshow containing Topkek images (shown beneath).


Cult of Kek

The Cult of Kek, also known as the Church building of Kek, is a satirical religion based around the worship of the ancient Egyptian deity Kek[4] (likewise spelled Kuk or Keku), an androgynous God of darkness and chaos who is often depicted every bit a frog or frog-headed man in male form or a snake-headed woman in female course.
